Simple Flapjack

Ingredients

Serves 12

  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 75g light brown sugar
  • 30g honey
  • 250g rolled oats

Method

Preheat the oven to 180ºC and line a 20cm x 20cm baking tray with parchment.

Place the butter, sugar and honey into a saucepan. Heat over a low heat and stir until the butter has melted and the ingredients have mixed together. Add the oats and combine well.

Spoon the mix into the lined tin and press down. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden around the edges. Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin. Slice up and enjoy!

Tips

  • Good for batch cooking
  • You can swap out honey for golden syrup
  • Keeps in an airtight container for up to a week
